After a year of closing my Studio Showroom (Boutique), am I still considered a small business owner? Yes, certainly I am for the mere fact that I’m still paying business expenses such as maintaining the company’s integrity with the LLC annual payment of $210, the website of $50 a month, and the domain name of $200, paying taxes and filling business expenses, having an outstanding SBA loan, a commercial loan, and a lease agreement for equipment, which I’m still obligated to the payments.
In addition to, my trademark registration is up for renewal with my attorney as those are done every 5-years. I still possess the knowledge and experience that’s undeniably important for what I built for the last 7-years. And to my surprise, a customer placed an order last night, which came with shock 😮 and so much excitement to still have interest in the brand after closing and not branding. A loyal and returning customer, who’ve made several purchases over the years, and was unaware of the current status of the company, but did not hesitate to order because things are still streamlined and operational, online!
A true testament to how I operate business as a professional. I miss the booked and busy days but I’m enjoying the growth and elevating my personal journey in this intentional way of living, and exploring life’s abundance while choosing me, which I’m grateful!
There’s ideas of business endeavors and continuation of starting back up my brands, but for now, I’m healing, in my soft girl era, and feeling free and liberated!
So let me just stand tall here and exist, until I figure it out! 🪴🫶🏽🪴 of &
