What Corporate Retail Taught me that I’ve used in my business…

1.Competition Shopping & COLLECTIONS
When I was creating tee shirts, one thing I did at the beginning of a season was Competition Shop. My focus was
1. Trends
2. Color
3. Collections
4. Best Sellers
When I got back in the “lab” I recreated to fit my brand.

Here you will see a tee shirt I LOVED from the Guess Store. The shirt was $55.00 only 2-3 black left and 1 red. Yes your girl snapped a pic of that shirt and added to her business assortment. It went on to be a best seller of mine.

I went into the Nike store and saw their ladies apparel pad was charcoal grey, blush and black….yes your girl took that inspiration and made it into my own.

In 2023 I put my career hat on and went back to corporate. This time on my own terms (so I thought); no travel, no management position, and definitely not bringing work home at night. My hope in taking a less demanding role was to keep time open to do all the entrepreneurial things I desired so much. Well none of those things happened. I quickly got promoted to a management position and whew was I thrown into that role.

Work was working my behind and I was taking the stress home with me. Life took a turn with so many unfortunate events happening back to back. I felt I handled things pretty well as a wife, mother, daughter, sister and manger. Subsequently all the things I thought I was going to do abruptly stopped again.

BUT……In this new season of my life, I’m giving life all I have for ME. I’m making a commitment to my entrepreneur dreams and on my terms. Yes I’m still working full time and dedicated to my career plans but I’m also dedicated to my purpose and passions in life. As I will teach how you can work full time and still make money on the side, I will show you in real time.
