Are you an ? I sure as heck am! 🙋🏼‍♀️ The stigma behind needing to always look fresh and like you have an endless closet is something I disagree with so much. There’s nothing wrong with rocking an item (or entire outfit!) all the time because it looks great and you love it!
This thinking is a huge contributor to the epidemic plaguing our beloved Earth. According to The Balance, “More than 15 million tons of used textile waste is generated each year in the United States, and the amount has doubled over the last 20 years.” I strongly believe that the idea of not wanting to rewear your items for fear of being judged is not only wrong, but also normalizes the notion that tossing your clothes is okay 🙅🏼‍♀️
Please consider donating your textiles that no longer suit your needs! This week is and one way you can participate is to rehaul your closet with a fresh clean out. If you don’t have a donation center near you, check out ! You never know who might be on the lookout for that cute item you donated 🖤

Take back Black Friday by buying with purpose. Factory production, consumption, and waste are running rampant this time of year. If you tread cautiously, shoppers will make the right decisions.

Black Friday exemplifies the current fashion system which through planned overproduction and overconsumption helps ditch unsold stock. Consider discarding your Black Friday clothes for a change, or plan to recycle them.

As an effort to curb overproduction, overconsumption, and waste, make sure you ask the brands who produce their clothes on social media for accountability using hashtags like ? and ? to spread the message that overproduction has consequences for the Earth.

You deserve better than mass-produced clothing. After looking at consumer reviews of stores, the best Black Friday deals are often clothes that consumers don't even need. The high prices not only reflect the greed of corporate America, but also dishonor the garment workers who will never see any profit.

If you had to wear ONE animal print for the rest of you life... WHAT WOULD IT BE? 🐆

I think my answer is pretty clear 😅 Here's three leopard print items I've thrifted and how I like to style them:

🐆MAXI SKIRT: Pair a leopard print skirt like this 00s find with combat boots and a graphic hoodie. The skirt adds a fun element of contrast with the otherwise "boyish" outfit.

🐆SILK NIGHTY: Don't pass up the lingerie section at the thrift store! You can usually find a great top to turn into a slip dress - paired with layers for colder weather, obvi

🐆 MAXI DRESS: Why not go wild with it? Rock a head-to-toe print and let the dress do the talking. Just add a hat (and combat boots - duh) and go!

After all, Jenna Lyons said it best — "As far as I'm concerned, leopard print is a neutral" but I personally think ALL animal prints are neutrals. What's next? COW PRINT.

🗣 PASS IT ON: There’s NO SUCH THING as a dumb question when it comes to making sustainable choices with your wardrobe!

If anything, asking these kinds of questions is part of what will help get more ethically minded clothing into more stores and onto more racks for everyone else to enjoy.

For every person who asks how cloth is made, there’s at least one other person who wants to know but doesn’t know enough about ethics in fashion/style to start a conversation themselves...and one more person who may eventually choose not to buy from unethical companies!

It's the first day of and I GOTTA KNOW — What's your most versatile thrift find ever?! 😍

For me, it would be this lil floral number from my collection of secondhand dresses. Here's my three fave ways to rock it:
