This is going to be a hard post to write, because once its posted its becomes real.
Running my storefront has been hard- both mentally and financially, because of the overhead of rent, utilities, and the hours, the long long hours of sitting there watching the empty street and the non existent traffic inside my store. Some days were great and would give me hope and encouragement to keep going. To those that made in, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. But the last 6 months, I found myself pouring in more money, more hours, more work, and shedding more tears as I sat in an empty store week after week, month after month. I began to travel to do outside events as a way to get sales but those events costed extra money and I simply wasnt bringing in enough to cover overhead on top of having the ability to get new inventory on a regular basis.
Ive hustled hard and I've poured my heart & soul into trying to make the storefront succeed--- but in the end my passion and my efforts were no longer paying the bills.
I have had to shut my storefront down.
This isnt the end, its just a pivot in a new direction.
