I happened upon the most beautiful shop in Cherry Creek called and am so excited to share they are hosting a macrame wallhanging workshop! ✨

On October 30, come get cozy with us and make in this seriously magical space! All materials are provided and we will learn all of the essential macrame knots with hands-on help!

Here’s the sweet reason I’ve been MIA from this account the past two months. ✨Luella Grace Krug was born July 11 and we couldn’t be more grateful & in love!

Lu was ready to be born July 4 but I was still trying to finish & ship a couple pieces. . .Thankfully, she gave me a week. I went to the post office ready to pop July 10.; and my water broke that night. 😆Luella was born eight hours later. We had a wonderful water birth (despite giving birth in a pandemic), and my husband, Michael, got to catch her! These weeks have been full of sleepy snuggles, some struggle (BF is soo hard) and lots of rest.

Due to a project delay, I stole an extra two weeks of maternity leave. It feels so good to be back at it! I’m so thankful to get to work from home and do something I love. Thank you all for your patience with my replying to emails.

Am I the only one who is just doing my Mother's Day gift planning? . . . I paired some beautiful potted flowering plants with macramé plant hangers for Mother's Day! 🙌🏼 Word on the street is that there's a cut flower shortage due to COVID, with price inflation. Here’s something happy to share with you in the midst of this pandemic! I’m having a baby!! ✨So here’s the reason I’ve been less productive than I’d love to be 😆. Imogen has been asking for a brother or sister since she was two and we’ve been eager to have another baby as well. We are so excited to welcome this babe into our family this July!

I learned at my last craft fair about “rainbow babies,” as folks gifted rainbows to friends who had lost a baby during their pregnancy. I had never heard this term before and found it so beautiful that here I was making rainbows while carrying our rainbow baby. Three years ago we lost our baby girl Wren at four and a half months in utero...We spread her ashes on the Arkansas river last summer and it comforts me to know my loved ones are dancing with her in heaven. Rainbows are such a beautiful symbol of joy after the storm! Even during this pandemic, I’ve seen them painted on windows on our neighborhood walks and they stir some joy in my spirit. Can’t wait to meet this baby I’m carrying this summer!

Macrame is a great quarantine craft! Meditative and enjoyable, you can craft fruit baskets, plant hangers and so many other fun projects with your knotting skills!

Join me May 16 for my first ever ✨virtual ✨ workshop! Here’s how it works: you sign up and then I will either drop off or ship you all the supplies you need for the workshop (including detailed directions to refer back to)! As much as I really miss gathering & connecting in person, this is a great way to still have fun together while being proactive about our health and that of our community. ✨Happy New Year! ✨ I am so grateful for being able to do this work; and for each and every person who has supported me with their encouraging words, advice and buying the things I make! I still feel those feelings of surprise and excitement when people purchase something I’ve crafted. Thank you so much for allowing me to do this! I am looking forward to exploring new ideas and all that the next decade will bring! .

2019 was a difficult year for me personally with much of the year spent dealing with some weird health issues & longing for another baby, then the unexpected illness and passing of my Dad...I am not sad to say goodbye to this year but spent yesterday reflecting on all the experiences and people that were bright spots through it all. . .
