Charming framed reproduction of Warren Kimble’s beloved American folk artwork featuring a rustic orange birdhouse, whimsical bird and cheerful flowers against a softly textured blue-gray background.

The artwork is surrounded by a decorative mat reading “Warren Kimble American Folk Art” and presented beneath glass in a distressed black wooden frame. Its warm colors and primitive country style would make a lovely addition to a farmhouse kitchen, cottage entryway, sunroom or cozy gallery wall.

The lower corner of the image bears the printed Warren Kimble signature. The back has a Home Towne Gallery label from Sandwich, Illinois, with what appears to be a January 2009 date.

Charming antique silverplate hairpin box made by the Pairpoint Manufacturing Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts.

The hinged lid is embossed with the playful phrase “A Woman’s Friend” and decorated with an applied brass-tone hairpin. The sides feature an ornate raised floral and scrolling design, while four small feet elevate the box beautifully.

Originally created to hold a lady’s hairpins, this unusual little box would make a wonderful addition to an antique vanity collection. It could also be used today to hold jewelry, keepsakes, sewing notions, or other small treasures.

Beautiful vintage silverplate Tree & Well meat platter by English Silver Mfg. Corp., made in the USA.

This substantial oval serving platter features the classic raised “Tree & Well” design, with branching channels designed to direct meat juices toward the well at the base. The platter is elevated on four decorative feet, giving it an elegant presentation on a dining or buffet table.

A handsome rope-style border surrounds the oval rim, while the highly polished silverplate surface beautifully reflects the light.
