Basic Revolution maybe closing but I'll still be active in the sustainable community.

I'm excited to have just joined Aloe, fun community of supportive people centered around climate action.

You can chat with others and learn about climate topics and solutions, get connected to green businesses, and take on climate "challenges" with your friends.

Come join me on Aloe, and be sure to say hello (or "Aloe") when you get there!

For those who don't know, itsa me! I'm Danielle, and I'm the founder of Soap Distillery! On this , this solo business owner would like to extend a monumental "thank you" to everyone who has gotten my little company where we are today. This includes our customers, both individuals and our retail partners!

We are so proud to be a small business on this day, but we also understand that not everyone can take advantage of all the sales happening this weekend, even if you want to. You can support small businesses by sharing posts, commenting on them, and liking them! Your wallet isn't the only thing that has power 👇🏽.

So, if you love a business, make sure to support them today, and as much as you can every week, in different ways than one.

Also, don't be afraid to if you're feeling overwhelmed by the holiday madness. 🎄 🥾 ☀️

We could use some help for our LAST Sustainability Market and our LAST collection of reusable and recyclable items for the year. All we need is an hour of your time. The market is this Sunday, October 16th from 9am-1pm. You can find the link to our volunteer signup in our bio. You can also find the signup on our website, reducewastechicago.org. You can email or message us on Instagram or Facebook with any questions you may have.

Don’t miss the last Sustainability Market. I’ll be there with our new hoodies!

What’s better than putting on a soft, cozy hoodie as these cool temperatures move in? Well, knowing that hoodie is 100% organic cotton, sustainably and ethically made. Plus, once your hoodie has lived a long and happy life, you can have it recycled for free! Basic Revolution will be at the Sustainability Market on Sunday, October 16th, selling these hoodies and many more sustainably made clothing items. Don’t miss our last market of the year and our LAST collection of numerous reusable and hard to recycle items for the year.

Wear. Recycle. Repeat.

What is the Basic Revolution?

We’re so glad you asked! First, here are the basic problems we want to solve:

Problem one: you wear your hole-y socks and un**es for too long because "omg, didn't I just replace them?" Yeah, we know you do this. We do it too.

Problem two: you wish you could donate your worn-out basics, but you can’t because eewww! So you have to throw them out and they end up in a big, hole-y landfill. We do it too.
