Another delivery day with Peter! 👊

His new custom sport coat is officially home and ready to be put to work.

I love this brown because it's incredibly easy to build around. Dress shirt and trousers when you want to sharpen it up, chinos for something more relaxed, or even denim when the occasion calls for it.

Thanks again for trusting me with this one, Peter. It was a pleasure building it with you!

What am I wearing?

I figured I'd do something a little different and break down one of my own favorite jackets.

Obviously the Buffalo Bills plaid gets your attention first, but there's a lot more that went into building this piece than picking the fabric.

The cut. The pearly white buttons. The thread. The white paisley lining. Even the personalization hidden inside the jacket.

That's the fun part of sitting down and designing a garment. We can start with one fabric you love and then work through all of the decisions that turn it into something that actually feels like you.

Two new custom suits, with two completely different approaches.

Robert, on the left, is wearing his new navy Reda wool, silk and linen suit—the first piece we've brought in as part of the wardrobe we're building for him.

Michael went with a blue Jorge Carli Super 140s, finished with a red Milanese lapel buttonhole and matching red thread on the final sleeve buttonholes.

But Michael also snuck in one detail you won't see in this picture:

"Go Bills" inside the collar felt. 🦬

That's what I enjoy about building these wardrobes with my clients. Start with a great fabric, get the fit right, then make the smaller choices that turn it into something that's actually theirs.

Custom doesn’t have to be loud to stand out.

This Reda wool, silk, and linen sport coat brings together rich brown and blue with subtle grey accents, creating a pattern that has plenty of personality while still being incredibly wearable.

Look closer at the lapel and you’ll catch the white contrast Milanese buttonhole — a subtle custom touch that gives the jacket something uniquely his without taking away from the overall look.

We paired it with to***co Vitale Barberis Canonico trousers, bringing warmth into the outfit and creating a combination that feels polished without being overly formal.

This is exactly what I love about custom clothing. You can build something distinctive without having to scream for attention.

Fall is where color gets interesting.

As we approach September, we're moving into deeper greens, burgundy, navy, chocolate, camel and other rich neutrals that give you far more combinations than the traditional gray-and-blue professional wardrobe.

But the key isn't simply choosing a great color.

It's choosing colors that work together.

A sport coat that works with multiple trousers. Trousers that pair with several jackets. Shirts and layers that change the look without requiring an entirely different outfit.

That's how you build a wardrobe instead of a collection of individual garments.

This is where the fun begins.

There are hundreds of fabrics to choose from when designing custom clothing—and that's before we even start talking about buttons, linings, stitching, monograms, and the rest of the details.

But you don't need to know anything about fabrics before your appointment.

That's my job.

Tell me where you're wearing it, what you like, what you already own, and how you want to feel when you put it on. From there, I'll help narrow the options until we find something that makes sense for you.
