After over 30 years in , I'm embarking on a new journey to write a book, and I need YOUR help!

We’ve all been asked, "What's the worst thing you've ever seen?" While understandable, this focus often overshadows the incredible, positive impact we make every day.

My book, "The Light We Share: Inspiring Moments from Public Safety Professionals," aims to highlight those uplifting and inspiring experiences that make our work so rewarding. Whether it's helping your community, supporting fellow responders in need, or feeling the camaraderie of your team, these stories deserve to be shared.

Hey everyone, I am thinking about writing a book related to my 30+ years in public safety, and I need your help.....

If you are, or have been in public safety, I know that you have been asked "What's the worst thing you've ever seen?". While we understand why people ask us this question, this focus on the bad stuff typically overshadows all of the good that you do.

The focus of my book, "The Light We Share: Inspiring Moments from Public Safety Professionals", will be to shed light on some of the positive, and uplifting, and inspiring experiences that we have along the way. Anything from opportunities to help your communities, to support that you were able to provide to one of your brothers or sisters in their time of need, to the camaraderie that you felt from those around you.

I want to collect stories from firefighters, EMT's, paramedics, police officers, emergency department professionals, 911 dispatchers, etc. I want to share stories that help those who are still "in the trenches" to feel inspired and proud of their work. I want this to be a collection of experiences that remind us why the work is so rewarding.
