April is Child Abuse Awareness Month—a time dedicated to raising awareness, strengthening prevention efforts, and coming together as a community to protect and support children. As we move forward, May is Foster Care Awareness Month, a time to honor and uplift foster children, foster families, and the dedicated individuals and organizations who support them every day.
Community collaboration plays a vital role in this work. Partnerships help increase awareness, identify barriers families are facing, and support meaningful, solution-focused conversations that lead to real impact.
Building up one another strengthens the entire system of care. When we work together, we create a more informed, connected, and well-rounded support network for all children, families, and populations we serve.
Captured here are moments from Coffee at the Shop events with foster families—coming together in T-shirts designed by Foster Adopt Shop to promote and support these meaningful awareness months.
If you forgot to order one, comment below—if there is enough interest, we may be able to open the shop back up!
Awareness is only the beginning. Real change happens through action, collaboration, and true community partnership.
