This week was a much needed jolt that we are where we need to be. Seeing the community response and his work with to bring .embry.186 was fulfilling.

Jim's lecture on hip hop and agriculture had me ready to poplock out of my seat. 😂 To do it in great company with , , , and was icing.

When we say we do this, we mean it. It comes in various iterations, but it's still to the same end.
WE ALL DESERVE SUSTAINABLE, AFFORDABLE, CULTURALLY-APPROPRIATE FOOD. 🎤⬇️

What an amazing week to collaborate with some great folks doing the good work of urban agriculture. I'm glad to be advising on this grant as the Ohio partner.
I didn't take lightly the ability to be among legends. LEGENDS.
Like James Beard Award winning folks. Multiple winners. Did I mention legends?
Here's to moving this work onward to support this life sustaining work that is agriculture, stewarding our natural resources, and sustaining our environment for future generations.

Sometimes I talk about my day job. This is one of those times.
A HUGE support that got me through undergrad was . So, the opportunity to support as co-advisor is not something that I take lightly. Last weekend I spent my weekend supporting our students from both of our campuses as they received national scholarships from and .
Then, .esg sent me an invite to for the regional meeting. An opportunity to partner regionally, learn about new initiatives, and hear from and meet one of my personal sheroes, YES PLEASE!

It was a professionally fulfilling week to say the least. Grateful is an understatement.
