Prom season is approaching!!!

Just thought I'd show off some of my formal gown handy work. This dress did not originally have a slit and it was kinda boxy in the waist. As you can see, now it fits like a glove and helped her get runner up in a contest (although I'm sure her victory was really about her being a lovely, kind, poised person in general rather than the dress 😉😘)

Made a child's sized dress from her late Grandma's tops. Thrift flipping is my favorite but the added element of sentime...

Sweater sleeves into a hat. Lined with parts from a thrifted jersey dress. P**f made from some unraveled part of the sweater. This one's mine but I'll make you one too!! Just bring me a thrifted or handed-down sweater or I can find one for you. I do leg warmers and headbands and scrunchies and infinity scarves too all from repurposing sweaters.

Tried something new.

Found this at the thrift store for like $6. I loved it and the only thing wrong with it was a couple of the embroidered polka dots we're coming loose so I secured one and completely redid another by hand. Only took me 5 tries lol. I probably could have just removed the messed up one completely and left it but if you know me, you know I cannot just leave my clothes alone and always have to try new things when I get the opportunity 😁
