Friends and family, I wanted to share that even with all the attention to detail minor imperfections are to be expected.
Some details I would love to point out that I have added to my process just from doing over and over again are, I use 2-4 layers for the face body and legs. The quality in the thickness of your doll is at felt first hand. The squish factor is amazing. Who knew stuffing a doll was an art, 😂 it feels like it anyways! I at the very least quadruple stitch over arms and legs as well as corners and anywhere there are extra layers of material to tack down. I use a serger on the pants as well as a double needle around the outside of the leg holes, I strive for flora to be casually extra. 💅 I also have decided, moving forward, when hand stitching on those precious petals, that I will do so with upholstery thread. So as much as tug-awar wouldn’t be this dolls favorite game rest assured I have done everything possible to make this a toy your sweet tots can play with, have tea parties with, take on walks or sleep with for their childhood. This is my goal for you in this doll.
