A few new beauties have officially been added to the website today. ✨

It’s been a slower season around here while I recover and focus on creating when my body allows, but getting back to making things with my hands has been good for my soul.

I also hope you’re enjoying the little website revamp. I’ve been working behind the scenes to make things feel a little more like us while preparing for all the new handmade goodies that will be finding their way onto the site soon. From dreadlocks to one-of-a-kind sewn pieces and other creations that pop into my head at 2 a.m., there’s so much more to come.

I’ve been a little quiet lately, and I wanted to check in.

Life decided I needed yet another surgery, so I’ve spent the last couple of weeks focusing on recovery and giving my body the time it needs to heal. As many of you know, health has been a bit of a rollercoaster for me, and sometimes that means stepping back, even when my mind has a thousand things I want to create.

The good news is that sewing has been one of the few things I’ve been able to do while resting. It’s been a peaceful way to keep my hands busy and my mind occupied, so you’ll start seeing some new handmade wristlets, zipper pouches, and other sewn goodies popping up on the website. They may not be the dreadlock sets and big projects I’m used to making, but creating something beautiful has been good for my soul.

I also want to thank all of you for your patience, support, messages, orders, and kindness. Running a small business while navigating health challenges isn’t always easy, but this community has carried me through more times than you know.

I’m taking things one day at a time, healing, creating when I can, and looking forward to getting back to feeling more like myself again.

This has been a really hard decision for me to make, but after a lot of thought (and listening to my body), I’ve realized I can no longer offer custom orders.

With the issues I’ve been having with my hands, I just can’t predict from one day to the next what I’ll be able to do. And if you’ve been here for a while, you know how important it is to me to get your customs done in a timely way. Waiting too long on something so personal never sits right with me, and I don’t want to keep putting myself or you in that position.

So for now, customs will be closed indefinitely.

That being saidβ€”this is not the end of creating. Not even close.

I’ll still be making plenty of pre-made dreadlock sets, both synthetic and wool, and pouring all of that same love and creativity into them. And honestly, this shift might open the door for even more unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

I’m also thinking about adding more of my handmade clothing to the siteβ€”crochet, sewn pieces, all the soft, romantic, earthy things I love to make. I’d love to know if that’s something you’d be excited to see.

Thank you for always supporting me through the shifts, the slow seasons, and everything in between. It means more than I can put into words. πŸ–€

Quick little update from the studio πŸ–€

My hands have been giving me a bit of trouble lately, so I’m having to slow my pace down some. Nothing too dramaticβ€”but enough that I’m listening to my body and taking it a little easier so I can keep creating long term.

That means sets are still being made (always ✨), just moving a bit slower than usual while I give these hands a little extra care.

On the bright side… Kane just finished the most beautiful black and pink wool set and I am absolutely obsessed. I cannot wait to get it photographed and up for you all to see 😍
