I got to hear Jeff Bagwell speak about his sobriety, and his story really hit home with me.

After years of struggling with alcohol, multiple interventions, rehab attempts, and relapses, Jeff finally reached his turning point. He took his last drink before Game 7 of the 2017 ALCS—the night the Astros beat the Yankees and punched their ticket to the World Series. He hasn’t had a drink since.

One thing he said really stuck with me:

“Getting sober is a hell of a lot harder than it was to make the Hall of Fame.”

That says everything.

We may come from completely different walks of life, but addiction doesn’t care who you are, what you’ve accomplished, or how much money you have.

But God does!

3,000 Days Sober Today!

My Dad use to always say, Son there are no coincidences, its just God remaining anonymous...

Today also marks 6 Years Since I've been home from Prison.

Thank you to Everyone that's walked this journey with me, all the I'm Proud of you's, the Keep goin's, the thank you's for sharing my story so Sober Out Loud...

There are moments that remind me exactly why I created MBK Apparel Co. 🙏

When you see something you created becoming a tool to bring people closer to our Savior—especially something as simple as a hoodie being proudly worn by our youth—the feeling is almost indescribable. It’s pure JOY. ❤️

This is bigger than apparel. It’s bigger than a brand. Every shirt, every hoodie, every message is an opportunity to plant a seed, start a conversation, share our faith, and remind someone what Jesus has done for us.

Seeing the next generation excited to wear “JESUS PAID IT ALL” means more to me than I could ever put into words.

One of the Greatest Lessons I've Learned in Life...

Everything and everyone has a season.

Your habits change. Your rituals change. Your addictions change.

Friends come and go. Even family dynamics change.

The way you live, the way you think, and more importantly, the way you see the world...

It all changes.

For me personally, it seems the older I get, the shorter the seasons become.

And unfortunately, that's just a fact of life.
Every day is one day closer to the end of our journey here.

My hope is that with every day I have left...

I get to help someone.

I get to hold on to the things that matter a little longer.

Friends decide to stay.

Families make more memories together.

And most importantly, we grow closer to our Savior.

Closer. More connected. Living with purpose. Finding fulfillment through this thing we call life.

Because in the end, it was never about what we accumulated...

It was always about who we loved, who we helped, and who we became.
