After 2 months of vacationing, houseguests and being in the hospital for a few days, I'm back and going to be better than ever! This is my new mantra for the foreseeable future.

Finished the 5K Hunger Walk today and personally raised $1,310! So stoked to continue this mission in our community! /run

As some of you know, I volunteer several days a week at my church's food pantry. I have been doing this for years and will continue to fight hunger for as long as I am able. This year's Hunger Walk will be virtual which means that I can choose my own route so for the first time I can actually participate! My disability keeps me from being able to walk on hills etc so I'll be heading out to the park Sunday and doing my 5K on flat ground! I'm hoping that some of my special friends here on IG will help me by donating to the cause.
Sunday is just around the corner and I'm trying hard to reach my donation goal before I head out to walk for hunger. Our church's food pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers. We give of our time and resources to help our neighbors and hope that you can find it in your heart to give even $5 to help our mission. This is our largest fundraiser and every penny we collect is used to purchase food through our partner agency, The Atlanta Community Food Bank. Now, more than ever, this need is becoming more important as people have lost their jobs or have had their hours cut. Thank you for your consideration 😊
