"Poppa Bears"

I had the deep honor of creating memory bears for a family grieving the loss of their beloved "Poppa."
Each stitch was guided by love, memory, and reverence for a man whose presence clearly left a lasting imprint on the hearts around him.
Poppa never said goodbye. When told "I love you," he’d simply reply, “Alright.” And in his own gentle way, that said everything.
His daughter shared a message he would want to pass on through these bears:
“Hold these bears close to your heart when you think of me. I will always be in your heart. Alright, see you later.”

To the family—thank you for trusting me with such sacred pieces of your story. I send my heartfelt condolences and prayers for comfort as you navigate this loss. May these bears serve as a soft reminder of the love that never leaves.

Meet our newest bear friend, a sweet and snuggly tribute to a little light in this world—Juniper. This memory bear was lovingly crafted from her very first onesies, each one holding a special place in her life story. Every stitch is a reminder of her earliest days, full of laughter, love, and tiny milestones.

Juniper, my sweet niece, is our Little Miss Sunshine—always full of joy, always shining bright. Her smiles light up every room, and we knew she needed a bear that could reflect all that warmth and happiness. The JAM Bear
This bear holds the pieces of my son's “firsts”—his first cuddles, his first bath, his first laughs and babbles. I wanted to experiment with accenting a bear using his baby onesies, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I also hand-embroidered his initials (JAM) for a personal touch. This bear has definitely become his favorite cuddle buddy.

A Piece of Home:

When Polly moved from New Hampshire—where she was born and raised—she longed for a reminder of home. Among the few things she brought with her to Florida was a simple white cotton bedsheet, a small but significant comfort. Night after night, it wrapped her in familiarity, a soft connection to the place she left behind.

Over time, countless washes and years of use left the fabric worn and torn. Not wanting to let go of such a cherished keepsake, Polly entrusted me with her beloved sheet, hoping to preserve its meaning in a new way. With careful stitching and heartfelt intention, I transformed it into something she could hold close once again.

Now, Polly has a new companion—a memory bear lovingly crafted from the fabric that once cradled her in sleep. A piece of home, still with her, in a new and lasting form.
