I'm sitting here today helping a client place a repeat order for temporary tattoos and window clings from last September.
As I duplicated the order, curiosity got the best of me, so I looked back.
Since that order was placed, I've processed 385 bulk orders (not including online stores).
For a company with exactly one employee... that's pretty incredible.
It's just me.
My bookkeeping is spot-on. Nobody owes me money, and I don't owe anyone anything. Every order, every invoice, every follow-up, every late-night proof approval—it all gets handled right here.
Now, I do have what I call my "Dream Team" who jumps in when online stores get busy and heat pressing gets to be too much for just me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. And I'm fortunate to work with some of the absolute best contract decorators in the industry. They have my back, and I'd do anything for them.
One thing I've finally learned is that I don't view other people in this industry as competitors.
I believe in building relationships—with customers, vendors, decorators, suppliers, and anyone else I meet along the way.
Collaborators are simply more fun.
They challenge you, teach you, inspire you, and help you grow. I've learned so much from the people around me, and I genuinely appreciate every relationship this business has brought into my life.
Some days I get caught up in what's next. Today, I'm taking a minute to appreciate how far I've come.
And honestly?
I feel pretty darn lucky.
