A few purses that can also carry a handful of discs, and a rainbow of color selection of kneel pads to protect your kneeling shot from mud, snow, sand and rocks. Bags range from $27 to 35 apiece, kneel pads are $15 each. Can machine wash any of these items if you get them dirty. Free local pickup, shipping varies.

Disc golf season is calling! Pros have already been starting, and with the 60 degree temps here today, I am ready to get out there myself soon. January has been crazy busy for me this year, unlike any other January I have had for Needles and Strands to date. Two prototype quilted hoodies finished, finished 4 quilts, hemmed a pair of jeans, repaired 3 pairs of pants and completed a shirt alteration. Whew, I need a nap! I will post the quilts after they have been gifted.

This beautiful quilt set is looking for a good home. The twin size quilt is not yet completed, leaving room for customization of a label, initials, or something else personal to the recipient. The doll size quilt is a finished product, and matches the large quilt perfectly. $450 for the set, can be ready to ship or pickup by mid Feburary. Its the time of year to reflect back on everything my tiny business has done in 2025. First I want to say thank you to my family for your unwavering support of all that I do. My clients, friends, craft show buddies, so many of you that have made purchases, recommended me, challenged me to keep sewing, thanks! Business has grown exponentially for me this year, and I couldn't be happier or more exhausted, lol, but keep it coming. Here are a few photos of things I made this year.

Some random stats, I sold over 100 scrunchies and over 100 wallets this year, did 14 shows over 2 states, and had countless custom orders and clothing alterations and repairs.

Finished up another tshirt quilt this week. This gentleman wanted a quilt but made exclusively as a wall hanging. I made it as small as I could while respecting the graphics, and sewed a pocket on the back so he can hang a curtain rod on the wall and just slide it on to hang it, and remove to wash as needed. Saved another bag of shirts in a closet waiting for that some day to happen.

The two quilts i finished in this last week. Happy to say ALL the fabrics used were exclusively from my fabric stash!
I have 4 more quilts waiting to be started, some memory bears about half finished, and giant plans for new product lines to get started on after that. What a way to spend wintertime.

What a wild, fun weekend at Covered Bridges Festival in Winterset. I am exhausted, but want to say a gigantic thank you to my SIL, mom, and neice for giving me breaks, and so much love to all who made purchases. It was a truly wonderful weekend. Come see me and Whispering Tumblebeads next Saturday in Clarinda for their giant fall event!

Yall have been keeping me so busy I have forgotten to post in a while. I did manage to finish these 3 little Christmas tree wall hangings to add to my craft fair inventory for October. This was in between multiple dress and pant fittings, and the stack of quilt orders for this fall and winter keeps growing!! I love it, keep it coming!
