Any one having weird dreams lately?

I swear my sleep has been incredibly interrupted lately with intensely strange dreams.

One featured a pink horse with a double saddle that someone was trying to hide from me.

And another I swear I heard right next to my ear “thanks for everything” it sounded and felt so real.

I go thru periods of dreams and no dreams. Lately I’ve been having multiple dreams a night.

Strange dreams, ones that make you ponder the meaning.

Maybe I should start keeping a dream journal.

I confess that I do spend a bit of time every morning googling the meaning of said dreams.

Today’s look since we’ve had spring like temps for the last couple of days: thrifted jealous tomato button fly flare jeans, old Amazon dress that didn’t fit right but I made it work for me.

Not much, but at least I changed out of the basic uniform of a black tee and ripped jeans.

We’ve been stuck inside for the most part since last week due to the ice and then the snowstorm.

Today was the first day I’ve actually been out and about town. Except for a quick thrift trip right before the snow storm.

This is the sweater and jeans I found during that thrift trip.

A vintage 1990’s men’s Seth Robert’s golf sweater and lucky brand jeans paired with my Vivaia red mesh Mary Jane’s and an Amazon belt.

It honestly felt so good to get out of my comfort clothes and put on something more presentable, and made me feel good in what I was wearing.

Bonus, it got up to 50 degrees here today which is basically like spring, hence the mesh shoes and no socks and most importantly no overcoat or long cardigan needed.

Snow Goddess ❄️❄️❄️

Wake Forest finally got snow!!!!

I have a love hate relationship with the snow.

I love it when it’s falling. Hate it when it stays.

Decided to take advantage of the prettiness of this falling snow. And froze in the process 😂

Are you a snow lover or a snow hater?

Freezing wearing the dress my hubby bought me because I fell in love with it but refused to spend the money on it 😂

Today’s look Alex Marie goddess dress from Dillards. Underneath are my jeans and boots because it was soooo damn cold out there.

Did a bit of thrifting today because we were bored stuck inside. Found some really really good vintage pieces ❤️❤️❤️

Yes I hate the snow. But I do love sledding. Sometimes. You really have to talk me into it 😂

So we were supposed to get 18-20 inches of snow. Instead we got about a half inch to maybe 1 inch of sleet…tell me why they always get the weather wrong?

Today I got the Christmas decorations and trees down. Then we went sledding with my oldest daughter and her husband and my grandson.

Next weekend they’re reporting maybe another winter storm. Maybe this time we will actually get a bunch of snow instead of ice. But probably not because they are incapable of actually predicting the weather appropriately 😁

Life lately. Not so much going on.

It’s no secret that I hate the winter. I’d rather be in as little clothes as possible. I don’t like to bundle up.

Give me a pretty dress, bare feet, the beach or pool.

Some photos of the last week or so.

My daily outfit lately, night sky, cat playing with a dinner mint, hawk visit by the fire pit, my daughter’s bestie who stole my phone and took selfies, breakfast for dinner, Me, Me, the cat again., sunset, and the tesla Photo Booth.

It’s been too cold to go out lately and I’ve been wearing the same style of clothes for awhile.

I’m out of inspiration for the winter and that’s ok.

I still feel good in what I’m wearing. It’s just repetitive and that’s ok too!
