One of the weirdest parts about getting sober is realizing how many conversations suddenly revolve around it.

“You’re not drinking?”
“Wait forever?”
“Do you miss it?”
“Are you still fun?”

No Proof Co was honestly created because I got tired of feeling like sobriety needed a full explanation every time I walked into a social setting.

I wanted something that felt confident, funny, self-aware, and normal. Not preachy. Not “live laugh recovery.” Just clean designs for people who quit drinking and kept being themselves.

Some people wear sports teams.
Some people wear band tees.
Some of us wear “Designated Driver” 😂

Which design would you wear first?

I wanted to share the story behind the “I Remember Last Night” design because this one means a lot to me personally.

There was a period of my life where every morning started with anxiety and detective work.

Did we pay the bar tab?
What time did I go to sleep?
Did I say something stupid?
Did I upset somebody?

Sometimes my wife would be asleep on the couch and my brain would instantly start spiraling trying to figure out if I did something wrong… when in reality she probably just fell asleep watching SVU reruns. 😂

That’s the part of drinking I don’t miss the most.
Not even the hangovers.

I don’t miss waking up trying to piece together who I was the night before.

Sobriety gave me my mornings back.
Now I wake up, drink some coffee, and think about what I want to accomplish instead of what I need to apologize for.

That’s what this mug represents to me.
Not perfection. Just peace.

The “I Remember Last Night” mugs are live now at NoProofCo.shop 🖤

“You’re not drinking?”

Such a simple question… that somehow always turns into a whole conversation.

Sometimes it’s:
“I’m driving.”

Sometimes it’s:
“I’m sober.”

Sometimes it’s just:
“I’m good.”

And sometimes… you feel like telling the full unfiltered truth 😂

At the end of the day, you don’t owe anyone an explanation—but having a go-to response definitely makes it easier.
Also, if you need help answering this question. We make stuff for that.

It’s wild how one small decision can completely change how the night—and the next morning—plays out.

It used to be “one more” without thinking twice.
And somehow that always turned into more than just one more.

More drinks.
More money spent.
Less memory of what actually happened.

Now it’s a lot simpler.

“I’m gonna head out.”
Grab a coffee the next day.
And actually remember the night I just lived.

Nothing dramatic. Just… better.

Same night. Different outcome.

One thing nobody really talks about when you stop drinking…

It’s not always the hardest part to stay sober.
It’s dealing with the constant questions.

“Why not?”
“Just one?”
“Is it forever?”

And suddenly you’re in a full conversation you didn’t even want to have.

That’s honestly where this drop came from.

I wanted something simple—stuff you can wear or use that kind of says it for you… without making it a whole thing.

Keychains.
Mugs.
Sticker pack.

Nothing over the top. Just subtle, a little funny, and very intentional.

Also kept everything under $20 because this isn’t about making a statement to the world… it’s just about making your day-to-day a little easier.

If you’ve ever been tired of explaining yourself, this one’s for you.

Alright… we just dropped a bunch of new stuff and this might be my favorite kind of release so far.

Not big, complicated, “build your whole outfit” pieces.
Just simple, everyday stuff that says exactly what you don’t feel like explaining.

Keychains.
Mugs.
Sticker packs.

Little things that somehow end up doing a lot of heavy lifting in social situations.

Because if you know, you know…
half the battle isn’t staying sober — it’s navigating the conversations that come with it.

So instead of turning every interaction into a full breakdown of your life choices…
you’ve got something that handles it for you.

Also kept everything under $20 because I want this stuff to be easy to grab, not something you have to think twice about.

If you’ve been looking for low-key ways to rep your lifestyle without making it a whole thing… this drop is for you.

Everything’s live now:

One of the funniest things sobriety changed for me?

My car.

Seriously.

No more random empty containers hiding under the seats.
No more passenger seat collecting drunk Taco Bell evidence.
No more turning happy hour into “I’ll clean this mess tomorrow.”

Somehow getting sober turned me into the kind of person who voluntarily goes through the car wash and actually keeps cupholders clean.

Honestly, that might be one of the biggest flexes.

And if you’ve officially become the designated driver of the friend group… we made something for that.

License plate frames, car coasters, and air fresheners are all live now at NoProofCo.shop

Your car changed too? Tell me I’m not alone.

One thing I didn’t expect after getting sober?

How much other people would overthink it.

People feeling guilty drinking in front of me
People getting offended for me
People asking if I’ll ever drink again

It all comes from a good place—but it can make things feel more complicated than they need to be.

The truth is simple:
I’m still the same person. I just don’t drink.

I wrote a blog post about some of the most common things I’ve experienced—and how to keep things normal around sober friends.

If you’ve ever felt this (on either side), I’d love to hear your take.

Telling people you’re sober and telling people you’re gay is weirdly similar. Some people hear that little fact about you and just keep the night moving like nothing changed. Others suddenly have 17 questions, strong (usually supportive, but very strong) opinions, and endless “attagirls.” I....

I’ll be honest — this one felt weird to post.

There was a time in my life where I drove when I shouldn’t have.
Not something I’m proud of. Not something I’m trying to glorify.

But it’s part of the truth.

And I think a lot of people have moments like that they don’t talk about.

For me, sobriety wasn’t about becoming perfect overnight.
It was about slowly becoming someone I actually trust.

Now I’m the one who:
– remembers the night
– gets everyone home safe
– doesn’t wake up wondering what I did

That shift matters more than pretending I was always “good.”

If you’ve got a past version of yourself that makes you cringe a little…
good. That means you grew.

And honestly? That’s something to be proud of.

I used to think getting sober meant I had to become a completely different person.

But I didn’t.

I still notice the same things.
Still think the same thoughts sometimes.
Still have habits that didn’t just disappear overnight.

For a while, I thought that meant I wasn’t doing it right.

Like if I were “really sober,” I wouldn’t even notice any of it anymore.

But that’s not how it works.

The difference isn’t what I see.
It’s what I choose to do next.

Same habits. Better choices.

And that’s been enough.
