Mother’s Day, for me, begins with my own mother…
the one who held me before I even understood the world,
who loved me in ways I only truly recognise today.
Her warmth, her sacrifices, her silent strength…
they’ve shaped every part of who I am.
Then life gave me another mother… my mother-in-law.
At a time when everything felt new and overwhelming,
she didn’t just stand by me — she held me through it.
With so much patience, so much care… she gently guided me into motherhood,
like only a mother can.
And then… I became a mother myself.
And suddenly, everything made sense.
The sleepless nights, the constant worry,
the kind of love that feels overwhelming, yet so beautiful.
Motherhood isn’t just something we become…
it’s something we inherit, feel, and pass on.
And today, I carry a part of both of them within me… with so much love, and so much gratitude.
