On this absolutely sweltering day, it's great to be in the basement finishing more pieces for our upcoming Fall in the Barn event September 25th and 26th.

Do you see those black umbrellas 🌂 in the reflection of the mirror? I'm still trying to figure out what to do with them. I've seen them hung with Spanish moss spilling over the sides for spooky season. What to do, what to do?

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and today!! Even though it was a soggy day, you guys came out to support us, and we greatly appreciate it! Thank you also to Flea Market Rescue, She Shed of Metamora and The Second Loop for sending folks our way ❤️

It looks like it's going to be a soggy day...we so need the rain! We will be here from 10 to 4. It's dry in the Barn!! Flea Market Rescue and She Shed of Metamora will open. Hope to see your smiling 😃 faces. ❤️

We'll be in the barn tomorrow and Saturday from 10 to 4! Flea Market Rescue is opening early at 10:00. She Shed of Metamora and The Second Loop will also be open!! There's also a barn sale just down the road from us, and a wonderful looking estate sale between Flea Market Rescue and us. So many reasons to take a drive out to the country!!

A few weeks ago, I posted about having a frustrating day of shopping. That day, we waited for the first estate sale to open. It was not good. I did pick up these vintage chickens. As you can see in the photo, they were very dirty. I finally unpacked them the other day and started cleaning. They came out great. They'll be in the barn along with a few other pairs I picked up since the last sale.
