Stay Away From TH Auto Body in Two Harbors — Worst Experience I’ve Had With a Shop
I should’ve listened when a local friend warned me about this place, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.
We brought in our 2023 Toyota 4Runner to have the lower front bumper repaired after it rubbed the garage, and to fix a paint chip on the driver’s door. My wife dropped it off, clearly told them BOTH repairs were to be done, and they gave us a quote. We accepted and dropped the vehicle off on a Sunday. They had it until Thursday.
When we picked it up, the bumper repair looked fine — but the door? It hadn’t been touched. Not even attempted. It looked exactly the same as when we dropped it off.
I asked the woman at the front desk what happened, and first she claimed the tech “forgot.” Then she changed her story and said they would’ve had to repaint the entire door to fix it. Really? I’ve been in the automotive industry for years — I know exactly how that repair is done. We brought it in expecting that work to be completed and were quoted accordingly.
She never apologized. She never offered to correct the mistake. She didn’t say they’d take care of it — just excuses and attitude. The vibe was either they forgot and didn’t want to admit it, or they decided they weren’t going to do the repair unless I paid more. Either way, it was complete garbage customer service.
We overpaid for half a job and now have to bring the 4Runner somewhere else to get the door fixed — the main thing we asked them to do!
Save yourself the frustration, runaround, and wasted money. TH Auto Body is unprofessional, dishonest, and clearly has no interest in doing what they’re paid to do. I will never go back, and anyone considering this shop should seriously look elsewhere.
