A little over a month into my Sourdough Side Quest and I’ve perfected the cookies! Scones I finally got texture down, just working on the classic wedge shape. My loaves and Focaccia are still coming out too tall but soooo good still.
If things work out, I may look into getting certified after the holidays and selling things other than regular loaves next year (maybe for summer markets). Want to do rolls and ciabatta next! I will be keeping most of everything wheat based as that’s the starter I was given and people seem to enjoy it.
Always appreciate and love the feedback. You all are awesome with the support in everything I do, so thank you all so much.

Still time to come find me at the Bayfield Farmer’s Market from 8AM-Noon today! Beautiful weather and amazing people.

Wow! What an INCREDIBLE night tonight. Met some amazing people, seen some familiar faces, and had such a great time. I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be there, learn and get my name out there. Even got an interview done!
I love what I do, and that I get to do it. I’m so proud of myself in this journey and can’t wait to finish the year strong. Thank you everyone for the love and support.
Sold quite a bit tonight too! Can’t wait for tomorrow.
