This is self doubt.

This is just a fitting in which I’m making sure that what I just did is correct so that I can move on.

But the self-doubt that creeps in that somehow it’s not gonna come out right even though I’m going through this fitting checkpoint can still be overwhelming.

Plus it just doesn’t look that great on the inside does it? Lol.

I thought the ugly phase was a good way to call it literally and metaphorically. This is the part where you’re gonna see the bones of the inside of your project and be very unconvinced that it’s gonna come out correctly even though you’re doing everything correctly.

Yes, I have moments of self-doubt too. But I have a very good clothing making system too.

Use this hack to sew a long hem!!

In the past, I have spent way too much time pinning an entire hem when all I needed to do was double it over and I could’ve just done what I did on this reel.

If the hem is only needed to be doubled over like in this reel then you don’t need to do all that extra work.

Don’t use pens if you really don’t need to because it takes a long time especially with longer hems for dresses and skirts.

Your time and energy is better spent elsewhere. Sewing takes long enough; don’t make it take longer than it needs to.
