Heart of Stone 6.3 — Holy Spirit

We were in the room for Gizmo’s final breaths. Monica stood there crying. Me? I can’t say I was sad, and I can’t say I wasn’t. I told myself you have to be hard and not let these things bother you. Life moves on.

That’s what a heart of stone sounds like. But God sees what we bury.
