According to Google😊 The phrase “one another” is derived from the Greek word Allelon which means “one another, each other, mutually, reciprocally.” It occurs 100 times in the New Testament. Approximately 59 of those occurrences are specific commands teaching is how (and how not) to relate to one another.

This was taught at church this past Sunday and I have been thinking of this all week!!!

One of my favorite verses is Matthew 22:36-39, when they asked Jesus

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Most of us do great with the Loving God and our neighbors but fall apart when loving ourselves and I think for me I have struggled with how to love myself well!!!

The answer I found is in the “one another’s” I will love myself how the Bible shows us to love one another. And the “loving one another” will flow from that!!!

According to Jesus, loving God and one another is the most important thing we can do in this life. The following Bible verses teach us how.
