it has always been my dream to blend my love of junque & animals, so i came up with the idea of Rescue Me Thrift Shop, a non-profit store i want to open. there will be a list of local & national shelters / rescues that donators & consigners can pick from. inventory will consist of furniture, home decor, knick knacks, maybe some clothing, accessories, jewelry & other assorted items. i have

begun the process of filing for my non-profit license (we got our nonprofit status), locating a store front & fund raising. i hope you will join me in helping save animals & the environment.

Hollywood superstar Matthew McConaughey proved he doesn’t tolerate animal abuse in real life. While visiting Sherman Oaks, California, the Oscar-winning actor spotted a group of teenagers who had trapped a stray kitten, covered the helpless animal in hairspray, and were actively attempting to set it on fire. McConaughey didn't just yell from afar—he immediately sprinted down the path, physically tackled the main abuser to the ground, and snatched the terrified kitten away to safety. He then stayed at the scene, aggressively reprimanding the group until they fled, and took the injured kitten directly to a local veterinary clinic for treatment. 🐱
