Anaheim Ducks new unis analysis after recent leaks:
1)Earlier leaks confirm the front logo is going back to the old Mighty Ducks mask with crossed sticks that's been updated for the modern colors and some minor tweaking to the design. Solid upgrade from the previous webbed foot main logo, which has now moved to the shoulder as a secondary mark.
2)Initial reactions focused mostly on the shoulder yokes of the road whites, which is a design holdover from the previous uniforms, this time without border piping. And as mentioned before, the shoulders have the webbed foot logo as a patch. But what I noticed more was the dimple-less shoulder fabric that adidas introduced, perhaps reverting back to the Reebok style shoulder using the same fabric on the shoulder as the jersey.
3)Moving onto the collar treatment, there looks to be a single color collar without the seam that breaks up the color on some adidas jerseys, plus there's a glitter gold trim along the inside edge of the collar too. Should look pretty cool in person.
4)The sleeve striping also seems similar to the previous orange third jersey, with a little tweak to the color order. Black bottom cuff on the orange jersey sleeve and orange cuff on the white jersey sleeve.
5)Finally, the number font as seen on the white jersey seems to be a holdover from the previous jerseys, BUT the sleeve number looks MUCH smaller. Is this a fanatics thing similar to the MLB issue they had with small uniform numbers?? We'll know soon enough 😂
