Meet Farmerā€™s Gardenā€”one of my favorite botanical soaps at King Mtn Treasures.

This rustic bar combines raw goatā€™s milk with botanicals including calendula, plantain, and echinacea, plus a touch of coffee grounds for gentle exfoliation.

Psalm 34:7 is such a beautiful reminder that we are never alone. There are times we may not see what God is doing behind the scenes, but we can trust that He sees, He cares, and He is near. What comfort there is in knowing we are surrounded by His presence and protected according to His perfect will.

Take a moment today to rest in that truth. You don't have to carry everything on your own. Give your fears, worries, and uncertainties to the One who is always watching over you.

šŸŒæ Jewelweed: natureā€™s little ā€œtouch-me-notā€!

Have you ever noticed this wild plant growing along creek banks and in shady, damp places? Itā€™s jewelweedā€”and itā€™s one of those plants that makes you stop and appreciate Godā€™s amazing creations. šŸ’š

Jewelweed has a long history of traditional topical use for soothing itchy, irritated skin, including the discomfort associated with poison ivy /oak and insect bites.

But thereā€™s a trick to preserving it: jewelweed is VERY high in moisture. If you want to save it for herbal skincare, drying it thoroughly before making an oil infusion is the safer route. šŸŒæšŸ«™

Harvest responsibly, know your plant, and never use herbs you canā€™t positively identify.

A Little Extra to the Soap Line šŸ§¼āœØ

Sometimes itā€™s the little details that make something feel complete.

Iā€™ve been wanting a stamp for my soap bars, and now I finally have one! It adds that extra touch and gives each bar a little more of the King Mtn Treasures personality. šŸ’š

Good customer service isnā€™t just about making a sale. Itā€™s about making things right. šŸ¤Ž

A customerā€™s package arrived damaged, and the last thing I wanted was for them to have to fight through the process of figuring out what to do next.

So I refunded their purchase firstā€”and then I handled the insurance claim with the carrier.

Thatā€™s part of running a small business. Sometimes things happen that are completely outside your control. Packages get damaged, lost, or delayed. What is in your control is how you respond.

One of the biggest lessons Iā€™ve learned: Know your carrierā€™s insurance and claims policies. Understanding whatā€™s covered, what documentation is needed, and who is responsible for filing a claim can make a stressful situation much easier for both you and your customer.

Your customer shouldnā€™t have to carry the burden of a shipping problem.

Take care of people. Build trust. Do the right thingā€”even when it costs you a little extra time or money. ā¤ļø
