Learned from experience! If you have any elements you’d like to put on for the reception, place them in an organza bag and pin to the inside of your skirt so it’s ready when you need it!

Or if you have buttons down the back, keep your crochet hook handy the same way, especially for getting out of the dress at the end of the night. (You should ask our front desk assistant, Julie, about her funny wedding night story!)

Our 2026 bridal alterations calendar is filling fast, and popular wedding months book earlier than you may expect.

💡You do not need to have your dress in hand to reserve your spot. Brides book early by placing a deposit, which holds their place on our calendar and is applied toward their consultation and subsequent fittings. Since you’ve reserved a spot, once your gown arrives, you’ll simply call to schedule your initial consult and officially kick off the alterations process.

Peak wedding seasons like May–June and September–October tend to fill the quickest, so we always recommend reserving your spot as soon as you order your wedding dress.

PSA to 2026 brides… book with your bridal alterations specialist EARLY!

Waiting until your dress arrives can mean limited availability and fewer options for your preferred seamstress.

We recommend booking your bridal alterations as soon as you order your wedding dress, ideally 9 to 12 months before your wedding. You don’t need the gown in hand yet. Booking early secures your spot and gives you peace of mind once your dress arrives.

Our spring calendar is nearly full, and fall dates are filling quickly. If you’re a 2026 bride, now is the time to plan ahead.

Did you know Debbie has a hidden home décor talent? Honestly, it’s no surprise with the level of detail she brings to every alteration she touches.

When we moved into our new space, Debbie and Hailey both said, “I can’t wait to decorate this for Christmas!” And now that the new year is here, we’re a little sad to take down our pink Christmas décor. We had to share it one last time before it comes down (and so we remember exactly where everything goes next year)!

Creating a beautiful, welcoming space is just as important to us as the work we do. We want every bride who walks through our doors to feel inspired, cared for, and completely at home! 🤍

These full glitter dresses… it’s truly a love–hate relationship. 😅 They’re absolutely stunning, but wow do they leave a trail of sparkle everywhere they go! ✨

We try to batch glitter fittings and sewing on the same days because it takes a serious studio cleanup after working on these beauties. If you know, you know. 🤪
