Hello wonderful people! I have been undergoing multiple surgeries. I have finished two spine surgeries and will be having my bicep reattached and shoulder reconstruction Aug 8 2024. I am excited to get back to life and sewing after recovery! It has been an intensely long road. A lumbar fusion, a double cervical artificial disc replacement, and now the shoulder reconstructions. It is amazing how a split second can completely change your life. My husband and boys have been incredibly supportive during this year’s long rehab. During this time I’ve lost friends. I’ve gained friends, and I’ve gained insight and wisdom. I’ve lost two dogs to the rainbow and gained two dogs in need. My cat group is ever full of needy little souls. I find that I have 1 million reasons to keep pushing myself to a full recovery and I’m eternally grateful for those in my life who spur me on in that direction; humans and my furry friends. It’s been the hardest time of my life, but I’ve had the most growth in multiple ways. I wish for everyone to be able to find peace in their life amid the turmoil and strife. hugs!
