I've wanted to needle felt a green man (or woman) for a while. So here's my first attempt.

Working my way through these socks. I learnt the Gull Stitch from an old McCall's Needlework book for these. It's time consuming, but I like the look and feel.

Day 2 of my solar dyeing with amaranth experiment. Not much sun today. But I gave them their first stir. I have a feeling there won't be much left of the wool roving and silk fibers I put in there by the end. But hopefully the yarn will fare better.
