Tonight’s show featured a surprise stunt: a tiny glass figurine attempted an unauthorized swan dive from my hands. In a display of reflexes that would make a ninja proud, I snatched it out of midair before it could meet the floor—all while holding another small glass figurine in the same hand. The figurine survived. My heart rate did not.
For one brief moment, I became both seller and action hero, proving that vintage dealers are prepared for anything.
