Shelter Dog Transport Alliance

Although they’re the State dog of North Carolina, plott hounds too often are chained outdoors 24/7, or cruelly abandoned when they’re no longer able to hunt 😞

And if they happen to make it to our shelters, they’re typically overlooked in favor of more ‘desirable’ breeds ~ or worse, euthanized because there’s just too many ‘hound’ type dogs in the system.

So when I see one of our hound dogs living the dream North, you bet, I’m gonna be singing too 😘
