"You’re too “blank” to Cosplay"

Join us in celebrating diversity in cosplay! We will be explaining the different types of discrimination in the cosplay community as well as sharing the stories of cosplayers who have lived through the experience. Learn about how you can be a more accepting and awesome cosplayer! We will be showing that EVERYONE, regardless of their age, gender, height, skin color (and yes, even weight) should be allowed to participate in this amazing experience we call cosplaying. You will also get to meet Curvy Kitty Cosplay, a local plus-size Cosplay duo. They go to cons in order to represent a positive body image, and look to be role models for others. We hope to inspire others to cosplay, despite not being "mainstream" enough or being "different" in the cosplay community. We invite all those who share our beliefs to join us in a mission to show that cosplay is for EVERYONE!
