Two weeks. Multiple countries. Two well-traveled bags. ✈️
Over the past couple of weeks, the Archer backpack and Hendry sling came with me through airports, train stations, cobblestone streets, coffee shops, fjords, and more flights than I can count.
They were shoved under airplane seats, dragged through terminals, carried through rain, and dropped onto more hotel floors than I’d probably admit.
And honestly?
That’s exactly how I designed them to be used.
The worn leather corners on the Archer tell the real story.
Not every part of the trip went according to plan though. Toward the end of my travels, I developed oculomotor nerve palsy, which led to an unexpected ER visit in Estonia and eventually an overnight hospital stay once I returned home.
Thankfully, I’m home recovering now and slowly getting back into the rhythm of life and the studio.
This whole experience reminded me why I started making bags in the first place:
Real bags for real journeys.
And this trip definitely put them to the test.
