This past weekend felt like pure sunshine ☀️ When anxiety starts to take over, my husband normally says “hey, let’s head to the beach”. He knows me so well and despite having a major aversion to the sand that’ll inevitably make its way into our car, garage and floors, he does it anyway and it’s something I am beyond grateful for 😌 What’s your happy place?

Soaking in that sunshine on our blanket that inspired Noah’s entire nursery decor and the sweetest hat. I remember buying these items while I was pregnant and trying to envision what our little boy would look like in/on them. The second I saw his face for the first time, all I could think was... of course, he looks exactly like my son 😌 I’m just so in love.

I felt like I was drowning today. The mom/work/homeschool/life balance is one I have yet to figure out and while some weeks I feel like I’m doing okay, there are days that I feel like I’m one dropped jelly jar away from cracking into a million pieces. I say this not to be a downer and definitely not for sympathy but because it’s all too easy to share the happy moments while hiding the struggles and I want other moms who may be feeling the same way to know, it’s normal. It’s a weird time for all of us and it’s ok to not be ok 100% of the time. (I’m speaking to myself here too) Sending my love to anyone who is feeling it today. You are not alone.
