Lightning struck my apartment on Memorial Day and I lost almost everything. This has been an extremely devastating experience. All of my leather and tools are located elsewhere, so I still have full capacity to create leather goods, thankfully. My cat, Oliver ran out during the chaos and we have not seen him since. I got to meet fellow Texan, .boy.blades at Blade Show and received two great gifts! A Kydex dump tray called the Little Sq**rt along with The Whole Enchilada which is a self contained pocket sharpener in a fantastic 3D printed case. On one side, you have a 600 grit diamond stone. Flip the stone and you will find a leather strop with some jeweling compound on it as well. Two more of the pickups from Texas. As many of you know, I really enjoy pocket art pieces. When I came across these two, I had to add them to my collection and support these amazing makers. Blade Show TX was the push I didn’t know I needed to get myself back in the game. This was such an amazing show, and the majority of the coolest things happened outside of show hours. The people are the priority. The gear is secondary.

Blade Show TX exclusive Judge & a Tsuba. Both pieces being made in brass with a similar finish were a match I could NOT pass up!
