I used to think Bible study had to feel deep and aesthetic—highlighted pages, cozy setups, the “perfect” moment. But Bible study isn’t about looking good. It’s not a performance. It’s for you first.
Yes, I run this account to inspire others to get in the Word—but truthfully, my day-to-day doesn’t always look like this. I homeschool my kids, run a small business, and serve my church and family. Life is full.
Some days, I journal with all the colors and notes. Other days, I open my plain Bible and read a verse in between tasks or in the car before an errand. I started bringing it with me—not to post, but to pause.
Because it’s not about how you show up. It’s just that you do.
The Word still speaks. Even when I feel overwhelmed or distracted, God still meets me.
So if you’re in a busy season or feel like you don’t have the time or right setup—this is your reminder: start with what you have. Let the Word meet you right there.
Comment “I’m starting again” if this resonates.
