Super excited to be part of the summer series with TAGALONG! Many of you may remember at the studio we called those bands - affectionately torture bands ! They were so effective aka sore for days! Great for travel - portable, effective, convenient, and no excuses! Great workout change up ⬆️ too. Muscle confusion and sprinkles…

Oh Wow! oh Wow ! oh Wow!

Famous last “pancreatic” words of Steven Jobs - many interpretations of what he meant ….?
But our interpretation is a very simple emphatic WOW …those words seem very appropriate for our first Sweat for the Cure!

We raised $4500 dollars for the master class combined with Dana Mccabe’s Ziya fundraiser of $500- we raised a total of 5K - and we received a generous donation for 1k bringing the total to an amazing $6K ! WOW that amount will be split between Living Well and Pancan’s PurpleStride…WOW

These amounts were also made more significant due to so many amazing and generous patrons’ donations for this cause ….which in turn helped raise the “barre” pun intended!

Lara- of the St. Charles Park District and their board donated our 3 hours of space for the event !👏

Jen Turcich -my incredible friend for organizing and putting boots ha stilettos 👠 on the ground for everything being put together behind the scenes so effortlessly and beautifully. The welcome table, gifts, food and all the millions of details that made it just perfect! 👏

Fierce Forward’s Ashley for kindly donating a “great price” to us for the beautiful crystal bracelets…👏

Wearable Weights for donating over $1K in bracelets and awesome T-shirts for our cause! 👏 Let’s make this an annual event !!

Thanking Beth from The Office for hosting our beautiful room! 👏

Maria Smith for donating her energy and time for the class and Michelle Gallagher for entertaining us with her God given vocals to our closing cool-down song👏👏👏Chantal Lappin for videoing the class and taking pics !

And a huge Thank you and round of applause👏 to all of you for bringing your energy , hearts, and souls…allowing us the privilege off raising this money for the next generation and the platform of Exercise and movement is medicine ! Vicky Waterman “Sweat For The Cure” was unbelievable!! If we all didn’t see it with our own eyes, we wouldn’t have believed it! Out of this world 💫
And if sweat is the cure then we poured it on!!!💦
Thank you to all those who attempted to keep up with Vicky’s almost 1:45 minutes of sheer inspiration and perspiration to help raise awareness and research dollars Living Well Cancer Center and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
But most of all thank you to Vicky! For sharing her message of the importance of movement throughout all life’s challenges…including stage 4 pancreatic cancer and living life with no time to waste ! There wasn’t a dry eye, or tank top in the gym!💦

Thank you to Maria Smith for an amazing “Faith” filled warm up, Michelle Gallagher for moving us all with her powerful vocals, Chantal Lappin and Kathy Green for video/photography, and Brenda Schory from Kane County Chronicle - Shaw Local for their support.

Sunday Vibes …WW’s is feeling very blessed. A huge shout out and 🙏 thank you to journalist Brenda Schory of Shaw Media - she has been following and writing about my “story” for a very long time and has been so incredibly instrumental in helping spread the word and message…our Sweat for the Cure event is sold out and we thank each and everyone that is participating to help the fight against cancer -Happy Easter!

Sunday Vibes … grateful. Giving an incredible shout out to my business partner and amazing friend-Jen 💜Cancer not only robs the person that is dealt the disease but it also “spreads” and affects all the people surrounding them. It’s one thing when you alone have to deal but there is a trickle down tsunami 🌊effect as well - I am so grateful for her endless encouragement love and support - she has been truly amazing -Running a small business is not easy and when your partner gets stage 4 pancreatic cancer it certainly increases the stress of entrepreneurship. People say partnerships can be difficult but when you find the right partner in life and in business it is truly the greatest gift and reward - I just want to thank her profoundly - she has been my rock and is now helping me achieve another purpose of bringing awareness of pancreatic cancer through my endeavors - her Pancan PurpleStride team has raised considerable contributions. She has designed these amazing tshirts for the masterclass and is helping me stay strong with her unbelievable faith ✝️ and love- times like these can test us - feel extremely blessed to have her in my life - 💜and she has kept us shipping WW’s 💪😂
