Welcome to our mission and movement to recapture the charm and ceremony of including beauty in our everyday lives. The Good Dishes specializes in the re-homing of heirlooms and preloved wares. We do not advertise as experts in the antique/vintage field or in the items we sell. We attempt to research items for proper age, materials, pattern, etc. We do not guarantee all our efforts to be 100% error

free. Please understand we are enthusiasts and our intentions are to re-home beautiful items we believe hold history. These vintage items are not new. Pieces will vary from gentle wear, normal usage wear to very worn. By purchasing any item in our shop you accept this as true. Please ask questions prior to purchase. We will do our best to help. Let me tell you about The Good Dishes Mission.
The idea is an effort to save time honored traditions and meaning by creating a new chapter for our pieces. We've created a place for you to find pieces of nostalgia, tradition or even new hopes. Just by exploring our collection you may be reminded of things stored away that you have forgotten to love.

It's a Modern Hopeful Chest of belongings for a life filled with the rich tradition from eras passed. Quality is unrivaled and these pre-loved treasures have many years of beautiful use and enjoyment left in them. Slowing down to appreciate the lovely look of a well appointed table and practicing the age old sentiment with which the pieces were created expands our enjoyment in the Good Life. Understanding past customs nearly forgotten and reviving their use is living history. We mustn't squander beauty of any kind. It is our duty to find the intrinsic value in these things and pass them on.

Our inventory reflects what we feel are heirlooms finding new homes. Historically, families bequeathed items to descendants. Recent decades have found a sad disinterest in this practice leaving many valued pieces homeless. We have rescued these lost things and hope to pass them to you. Enjoy perusing our catalog for your next family tradition.

The Good Life. Celebrate your life and love. The current disposable nature of our society is devaluing these richer underlying meanings for the everyday doings of life. They must be recaptured and protected. Do it your way. No rules or pressure, just pretty and textured and colorful and filled with people and experiences and meaning. Life without meaning is tragic.
