During National Police Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the men and women in law enforcement who stand beside communities during some of the hardest moments people will ever face.

We are grateful for the partnerships built between law enforcement and search and rescue teams. Together, we work toward one mission — bringing loved ones home and serving those in need with professionalism, compassion, and determination.

This week, we honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, those currently serving, and the families who support them through every call and every unknown. Thank you for your service, your courage, and your commitment to protecting others.

Happy Mother’s Day from The SAR Sheps 🧡

Today we celebrate all of the incredible moms — the ones who love fiercely, support endlessly, and hold their families together through every season of life.

But today, we also hold space for the mothers who are hurting. The mother’s searching for answers. The mothers missing their children, family members, or loved ones. And the mothers whose hearts carry the weight of the unknown every single day.

Please know you are not forgotten.

As a search and rescue team, these families are always on our minds and forever part of why we do what we do. Behind every search is a mother hoping for a phone call, an answer, or one more moment with someone they love.

To every mom — dog moms, SAR moms, first responder moms, and the mothers standing strong through unimaginable pain — we are thinking of you today.
