Born In A Barn…
“There was a smooth journey ON A DONKEY, a PAINLESS BIRTH, a COZY NIGHT IN A STABLE and peaceful, generous STRANGERS NEAR HER BABY.” Isn’t it interesting that over time the story surrounding the birth of Jesus has been turned into a fairytale adventure?
We’ve done the same thing to our lives and forgotten to come alongside others who are struggling; instead, acting like our mistakes and tragedies never hapoened, like others are different, or less than, when their lives get tough.

How healing and encouraging it is to look into someone’s eyes and find UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, a COMPASSIONATE HELPING HAND, a VULNERABLE, HONEST FRIEND with NO JUDGEMENT. That person is hard to find. Trust me, I know! But, that is the whole point of Jesus’ life. God dropped everything and came to walk beside us, hug us, love us, teach us, show us, “he understands our pain.” Then, He gave us a way out from under the weight of it all.

To let go of my shortcomings, mistakes, and then to be welcomed completely into my Father’s House with celebration changed my life in the most freeing and beautiful way. To know I was purposefully made and that if I was the only person on this planet, He would have still come and died FOR ME, is beyond humbling. But, true. For those who seek Him, trust him to carry the weight of their sin away - there is no judgement; only unconditional, compassionate love.

I’m not Jesus, but I hope you feel His love for you when you’re around me. I’m far from being perfect and I WASN’T BORN IN A BARN….but, MY DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN. YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!

Before you allow someone else’s comments to become your own thoughts…take a minute to remember the road you traveled, the prayers you’ve prayed and what God equipped you to handle to get to where you are. My guess is you made the best decisions you could with the information you had, you honestly sought God’s voice and you gave it your best effort. Choose your thoughts and evaluate the critics that are evaluating you!
