It’s been fun to get back into crocheting in the last couple months. I decided stopping the scrolling and ignoring the news rage monsters was better for everyone’s health 🤣 this project is from a kit club which I haven’t done before now but with the business of life I needed something delivered to my door vs trying to go out and get yarn for etc. so far it’s been great fun! The red and green is the original from the kit. The blue is just grown my yarn stash. The psychedelic one is also from my stash. I’m doing all three at the same time just for fun.

To get the cabinet boxes in shape we sanded and primed everything. The inside of the boxes were painted white to brighten everything up.

We got the top cabinet door fronts installed. I’m thrilled with the outcome. Click on picture and Swipe left to see more pictures. And captain America was a huge help.

With cabinet fronts like this, a sprayer is the best way to paint them. I use a critter sprayer. Hopefully get these installed today.

Finally got to sanding these doors, phew they needed a cleaning. And this wood is very thirsty once the finish was sanded off. Now to paint. (Click photo for more pictures)

After removing all the doors and hardware we sanded and painted the inside of the boxes to brighten everything up and give it a clean look. Gotta sand those doors and prep for paint. We also removed the old linoleum flooring.

We decided to update the kitchen rather then replace it, everything was still in good shape just needed some love and a refinish. We numbered all the door fronts and removed the old range hood and blinds to prepare for paint. .
