This past week has been full of every feeling, but mostly so much gratefulness π₯Ή. We drove from Arizona to Illinois with maannyyyy bathroom breaks due to getting XL sodas at each gas station π€£β½οΈ. Michael & dad both drove the entire time while Ava, Mom, and I caught up on TV shows, played Rummikub, and took pictures every time we saw something green π³πΊπ. Once we got to IL, we spent the night at Michaelβs parents before heading to Chicago and moving in. We are SO thankful for everyone who helped us get ready for this move back in AZ and those who helped us move in IL π. The move in process was pretty quick because of how many people offered their time and hands to help us π¦ππΌ. Our place is starting to feel so homey as we started unboxing π. We have bought loottttttssss of furniture and are still looking for some ποΈπ‘. For the 4th, we went back to Michaelβs parents and got to celebrate with his family - a Midwest 4th is SO special β€οΈπ€ππΊπΈ. Then we dropped my family off at the airport & got a HUGE screw in the tire ππ©. They stayed as long as they could to help us get the tire off and put the spare on but had to head in and get through security because it was almost time for them to leave π©οΈππΌ we said βbyeβ before security and waved after they made it through, soooo many tears π. Then Michaelβs dad came to help us, follow us to discount tire, and drive us back to the Poppens π. Our day continued to get pushed back due to many reasons, but the Lord was faithful and had a reason for it π§‘.
Ultimately, we feel so loved, supported, & encouraged during this new chapter. Thank you to everyone πππ. Canβt wait to continue life with you by my side MP! Together, we can do anything π«ΆπΌ
