This dresser marks my first dresser makeover since moving to Georgia! ✨ Every piece teaches me something new, and I had so much fun transforming this one. Seeing the finished result reminds me why I love flipping furniture so much. ❤️

From moving across the country to Georgia to finishing my first furniture flip here, it feels good to create something with my own hands again.

There’s something deeply meaningful about creating again after such a big life change. New surroundings, new routines, and a completely different environment, but this project gave me a sense of familiarity and control in the best way. It reminded me that no matter where I am, I can still create something beautiful, something intentional, something that reflects who I am.

This piece started off worn and overlooked, but with a little vision and a lot of patience, it slowly transformed. Sanding, cleaning, painting, and putting everything back together wasn’t just physical work, it was a process of slowing down, paying attention to the details, and trusting that it would come together in its own time. There were moments where it didn’t look like much, and other moments where I could finally see it taking shape. Both mattered.
What I love most about furniture flipping is the story behind it. Taking something that has been used, forgotten, or left behind and giving it a new life feels like a small kind of redemption. It’s not just about the final look, but the journey it takes to get there. That’s what makes it worth it.

This project also feels like a reflection of where I am in life right now, figuring things out, building something new, and allowing myself to grow through the process instead of rushing to the end result. I’m learning to appreciate the in-between moments just as much as the finished product.

Proud of how this nightstand set turned out, and even more proud of myself for just starting again. It represents a fresh chapter in more ways than one, and I’m excited to keep creating, learning, and pushing myself with every project that comes next.

This is just the beginning of what I’m building here in Georgia, and I can’t wait to see where it all leads.
