There is someone who believed in this brand before it was real.

She told me to stop hiding behind it and give it everything. She didn’t get to see me do that. But I’m doing it.

I’ve stepped out of my introverted shell and applied for things I would have never done before. I placed my best foot forward and landed opportunities I never saw coming — all because I focused and did exactly what she told me to do.

This registry — everything I’m about to put into the world — is the promise I’m keeping.

This brand is named after two women: Laura and Dorothy, called Vivian. My grandmothers.

I named the brand before I built it — because I always knew what it was for. Before I learned the craft, before I understood which materials I’d work with, before I knew how to construct a piece that would last, I knew it would carry their names. That certainty was the foundation.

They didn’t make leather goods. But they made things — with care, with intention, with an insistence on quality that felt almost old-fashioned and was always exactly right. That instinct lives in everything I make.
