Colorado National Monument, just outside Grand Junction, is home to the Southwest’s celebrated red rock canyons. Called the “mini-Grand Canyon,” it has six distinct canyons and 43 trails. Its red rocks, towering formations, and sheer cliffs are visible along the scenic Rim Rock Drive.
